We end with another breathing exercise...

Aw yes, Kapalbhati breathing. Good for your digestive system and your abdominal muscles you know! :-)

So I wasn't the best about staying updated during training. In my defense, the few moments we actually had between class, lecture, posture clinic, etc. were few and far between. When there was actually time to sit down, we sat. That was all that we had energy for.

What an amazing experience the 9 weeks in Palm Desert turned out to be. It truly was life-changing, in so many ways. The unfortunate side of it is...it is terribly difficult to really explain it to outsiders. If you didn't drink the Kool-Aid, you may never fully understand what it was like to be immersed in a pool of it. My absolute favorite part of the whole training (and probably the moment that I will never give justice to in talking about it) was the exact moment we breathed our last Kapalbhati breath for Bikram Spring Teacher Training '09.

The weight of the world absolutely was lifted from my weary shoulders.

The room blurred before my very eyes.

My numb body felt unbelievable, even in the midst of not feeling.

We had survived. Finished. Come out of a world that had been so tough, yet so loving. Nurturing. Demanding.

It had become home.

And it is a home that will be missed...in so many ways.

To our dear, protective yoga bubble: We thank you. We will miss you. We will see you on the other side. See you soon.
